Taringa

Taringa is a suburban centre located approximately 6km from the Brisbane CBD. Altitude at Taringa Apartments are located adjacent to the local shopping centre rigt on the main bus & train lines.

Taringa has a number of food outlets including Chinese, Indian and Mexican Restraunts as well as Dominos pizza & Hungry Jacks.

Altitude Apartments adjoin Taringa Medical Centre with pharmacy, medical, physiotherapy and dental facilities available.

There are two regional shopping centres within a 1.5km (1 mile) radius.

Indooroopilly Shopping Town is one of the largest undercover shopping centres in South East Queensland www.indooroopillyshopping.com.au and is a 15 minute walk or easy bus ride away.

Toowong Village Shopping Centre, www.toowongvillage.com.au is also a 15 minute walk, easy cycle or can be accessed directly from the Toowong station.

University of Queensland- St Lucia Campus

There are three ways to get to University of Queensland from Altitude Apartments. You can walk 10 minutes to catch Bus 428 or 432 which depart every 15 minutes from Swann Road for a 10 minute bus ride to UQ.

The second option is to catch a train to Toowong (every 10 minutes from Taringa Station during peak hour) and then changing to bus 411, 402 or 412 which depart every few minutes for UQ.

The third option is bus 414 which leaves from a busstop right beside Altitude on Moggill Road, departing at 36 minutes past every hour for UQ.

University of Queensland- Ipswich Campus

Trains depart from Taringa station directly to Ipswich where busses link to the UQ campus.

Queensland University of Technology- Gardens Point Campus

Travelling to QUT is an easy train ride from Taringa station to Central Station from where you can either take the free city link bus or a 10 minute walk to campus.

City

The central city of Brisbane provides all the amenities and recreation opportunities expected of a large modern city. The city has a broad range of bars, nightclubs, movie theatres, restaurants and cafes. There is also a large casino as well as shops, offices and medical, dental and other health practitioners.

Apart from catching a bus or train, the city is a 15 minute cycle or a A$15 – 20 cab fare from Altitude at Taringa Apartments.
